It's been a week...

1.15.18

Hey all! This week was pretty uneventful. We worked really hard though.
We were able to have two lessons with one of our investigators this week! She really liked and believed what we taught but said she wanted to try out some different churches to make sure that this was the right one. She told us that the Lord would probably tell her to come back to this one though!  Prayers for Sheila would be appreciated.
We also got a new Ward Mission Leader in our ward so that should be a fresh new start for the mission plan here in Dixon.
We did a lot of tracting this week, it was fun and we met a lot of crazy people. That's always fun though!!
I was also able to go on exchanges to Woodland last week with Elder Cawley (Zone Leader who goes home in 3 weeks) where we set a baptismal date with a woman who was having her first lesson! It was a really great experience and I hope to get some of our own investigators on date very soon!
Song of the week is Billy Joel's Lullaby.
I encourage all of you to read the Book of Mormon every day.  Even if it's just a chapter or a verse.  I've seen it bless my life a ton, especially while I've been on my mission.
I hope it doesn't snow in Utah until I get back!
Much love from Northern Cali.

Hank is able to receive emails on his tablet daily, whenever he has wifi.  He would love to hear from you, especially during a week like the last, when the work is hard and rewards feel few.

We will have an entire album of California trucks by 2019!

I'd like to think this means he's thinking of his mom. :)
